Dog obedience classes offered

Classes are available for dog owners who need help in establishing good conduct and curbing bad habits in their canine pets.

Dog obedience sessions are being offered. Classes will be taught from 6 to 7 p.m. every Friday Aug. 23 through Sept. 27 outdoors at Alpine Animal Hospital, 921 Emerald Bay Road. The cost is $65 for the six-week session.

Instructor Guy Yeaman uses a light-handed approach to help owners teach their dog to obey the commands heel, sit, stay, stand, recall and others. Each dog needs a choke chain and fabric or leather lead. Dogs must be at least 4 month old and current on their shots.

Results are guaranteed. For more information call Yeaman at (775) 265-4530.
