The Friends of the Library are looking for donations for a book sale that will be held March 15.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit Friends of the Library and will help support library programs and events for children and adults. Donations of books, DVDs and books on CD will be accepted. Organizers are looking for materials in good condition and with a copyright date no earlier than 2004. Recent children’s books and DVDs, as well as recent materials in Spanish are especially needed. All donations are tax-deductible, with receipts available from the front desk.

The South Lake Tahoe Branch Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd., is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information on library services, call 530-573-3185 during regular business hours.
