Donations sought for book sale
Friends of the Library is currently accepting donations of books and audio/visual materials (DVD and books on Tape/CD only) for its Nov. 16 book sale.
Organizers are looking for materials in good condition with a copyright date no earlier than 2000. Recent children’s books and children’s DVDs, as well as recent materials in Spanish are especially needed. All donations are tax deductible, with receipts available from the front desk. All proceeds from the book sale go to Friends of the Library, and help to support various library programs and events for children and adults.
The South Lake Tahoe Branch Library is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For information, call 530-573-3185 during regular business hours.
