Donations sought for fire victims

Trevor Clark / Tahoe Daily Tribune / Erich and Ron Abrams sit at one of the tables in the gym at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center Sunday night after their home was burned in the wildfire.

Because of the sheer loss of homes from the Angora Fire, the Tahoe Daily Tribune is asking everyone to donate items of clothing, food and furniture. Donations can be dropped off to the Tahoe Daily Tribune, 3079 Harrison Avenue, South Lake Tahoe.

The items will be stored in the Tribune’s warehouse. The items will be distributed to those who need help through the American Red Cross and various churches and service organizations.

For information contact Gail Powell-Acosta, publisher, Tahoe Daily Tribune, (530) 542-8046.
