Donations sought for Good Neighbor Donation Day

Good Neighbor Donation Day will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Village Center in South Lake Tahoe.

Donations will be collected to support local agencies such as Tahoe Youth and Family Services and Christmas Cheer. Donations of books, school supplies, craft supplies, games, hygiene products, winter coats, gloves, hats, socks and underwear, canned goods, healthy snacks, nonperishable items, copy paper, paper towels, toilet paper and cleaning supplies are needed. Financial donations will also be accepted.

The event will include a live broadcast from K-Tahoe and free barbecue samplers provided by the Fox and Hound to anyone who donates. There will also be a drawing for an iPad and a visit by the State Farm Good Neigh Bear.



The Village Center is located near Raley’s, 4000 Lake Tahoe Blvd.
