The hits of American rock band the Doobie Brothers can be found at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe Saturday, Dec. 12.

Doobies Inc., a Los Angeles-based tribute to the 1970s California rock act, plays Saturday night in the casino’s Vinyl music venue.

The Doobie Brothers rose to fame in the 1970s and has released three multi-platinum records, seven platinum records and 14 gold albums.

“Their Best of the Doobies (1976) has sold more than 12 million copies — a rare ‘diamond record,’” according to the band’s online biography. “The Doobies propulsive roots-based, harmony-laden, guitar-driven style has sold over 40 million albums.”

The band’s hits include “Black Water,” “What a Fool Believes,” “Jesus Is Just All Right,” “Rockin’ Down the Highway,” “Long Train Runnin’,” “China Grove,” “Take Me In Your Arms,” Takin’ it to the Streets,” “Minute by Minute,” “You Belong to Me” and “The Doctor.” All of the songs will be fair game for Doobies Inc. on Saturday night.

“Doobies Inc. will take you right back to those sweet summer nights…with music of The Doobie Brothers,” according to the band’s online biography. “The show keeps you ‘Rockin’ down the highway’ with over 40 years of hits that could only come from The Doobie Brothers’ sound — an infectious combination of rock, country, R&B, jazz, and folk/Americana.”

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe is located at 50 U.S. Highway 50 in Stateline.
