Douglas County and Incline Village schools, Sierra Nevada College on delay

Schools in Douglas County and Incline Village are on delay due to a winter storm, while schools in Lake Tahoe Unified School District will open under their normal schedule.

All Washoe County School District schools, including the three schools in Incline Village, are on a two-hour delay. Winter bus stops are in effect.

The Sierra Nevada College campus in Incline Village will not open until 10 a.m. Any classes before 10 are canceled today.

All Douglas County Schools, including those at the lake, are on a 90-minute delay.

School buses will only stop at main bus stops for Zephyr Cove Elementary School and George Whittle High School 90 minutes later than the normal pick-up time.

These stops are designated as:

The corner of Tina Court and Ski Court for students living in the Tramway and Kingsbury Village area:

WHS – Bus will arrive at 8:10 a.m. and depart at 8:35 a.m.
ZCES – Bus will arrive at 9:27 a.m. and depart at 9:50 a.m.

Glenbrook area will board at the entrance to Glenbrook:

WHS – Bus will arrive at 8:02 a.m.
ZCES – Bus will arrive at 9:06 a.m.

Parents are responsible for delivering students to the main bus stops in the morning and picking them up from the same stop in the afternoon.
