Douglas County hosts Warm Winter Clothes Drive

Submitted to the Tribune

Douglas County is collecting donations for its warm winter clothes drive.

Organizers are looking for donations of lightly used and new warm winter clothing such as jackets, hats, gloves and boots.

Donation bins will be placed at Heavenly and Kirkwood. At Kirkwood, bins can be found at the village ticket office, Timber Creek Lodge, Red Cliffs lower lobby and Kirkwood Mountain Sports. At Heavenly, bins are stationed at the California Main Lodge and in the human resources office.

Donations will be accepted through the end of the month.
