Douglas County Library plans fun Halloween season

Douglas County Children’s Librarian, Carol Rapacz (alias Tilly the Witch) will read Halloween stories and poems for children ages 4 and up on Thursday Oct. 25 from 3:30 to 4:30.

All children are welcome. Stories read will be from “Making Friends with Frankenstein” by Colin McNaughton and “The Spook Matinee and other scary Poems for Children” by George Ulrich. Other library books, special pop-up books and a flashlight story from Tilly’s collection will be featured. Tilly will end the program with her favorite poem, “Spider on the Floor”. The event will be held at the Lake Tahoe Branch Library in Zephyr Cove Park. For more information, contact the library at 775-588-6411.
