Richard Roll’s award-winning short film comedy “Down Dog” will screen in various Lake Tahoe theater venues Friday through Sunday as part of the Tahoe/Reno International Film Festival.

“Down Dog” will screen Friday at 7 p.m. and again Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Heavenly Village Cinema. It will also screen at 6:15 p.m. Saturday at the Incline Village Cinema.

“Down Dog,” a hilarious send up and celebration of Los Angeles “yoga culture,” has played to enthusiastic receptions at the Boulder International, where it was awarded best short film, beating out “WASP,” which went on to win the Academy Award for best live action short film, DC Independent, Method Fest, Phoenix, Waterfront and Maui Film Festivals.

“I’m looking forward to sharing my labor of love with the enthusiastic Tahoe/Reno audiences,” Roll said. For more details visit http://www.downdog.com or http://www.t-riff.org.
