Kame Richards, owner, founder and designer of Pineapple Sails, will present a sail-trim seminar focusing on downwind trim Aug. 5 in the Yacht Club room at the Tahoe Keys Marina, upstairs from the Harbor Master’s office.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast. The seminar includes a class in the morning and the afternoon on the water with box lunch included. The seminar is free for Windjammers Yacht Club members, $20 for a member of a USSA Yacht Club and $70 for the general public. Reservations are required; call Lynn Wright at (530) 544-1482.

Everyone who attended the upwind program raved about what a great speaker Richards is and how much was learned in one day. His credentials include many Pacific Cups, Transpacs and One Design Championships. Bring out your boat and your crew to fine tune the art of downwind sailing.
