Coffee connoisseurs won’t want to miss this Saturday’s specialty tasting event at The Coachman Hotel.

Beginning at 10 a.m. on March 10, Truckee-based coffee roastery Drink Coffee Do Stuff will pour their eclectic blends at the South Shore establishment — and the event is free to attend for the public.

“Like wine, terroir has much influence on coffee’s end flavor and sweetness; it’ll be an incredible opportunity to showcase high altitude roasting in a unique way,” said Drink Coffee Do Stuff’s Nick Visconti.

“The coffees are incredible, and all have the taste of Tahoe — I look forward to connecting our mountain people with those mountain people that grew these specialty coffees,” he continued.

Drink Coffee Do Stuff’s full coffee lineup will be showcased at the cupping, which lasts throughout the morning.

“We believe extraordinary coffee leads to an extraordinary life… for us that begins with extraordinary coffee sourcing. Specialty coffee is grown between 4,000-9,000 feet. We source all our coffees from mountain people and roast them for mountain people,” states the company’s website.

The Coachman Hotel is located at 4100 Pine Blvd.
