Driver safety class offered to seniors

An AARP driver safety course is being offered to senior citizens on Nov. 15 from 9 a.m.to 1:30 p.m. The cost of the class is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members, payable at the start of the class. Payment covers the workbook and materials. Pre-registration is required.

Irvine Phillips will instruct the course. Those who complete the class should receive an auto insurance discount for three years. Participants will need to bring a pen or a pencil.

The class is sponsored by and will be held at Kahle Community Center located at 236 Kingsbury Grade in Stateline, Nev.
