Drum group begins Thursday at Boys & Girls Club
Professional drummer and teacher Liz Broscoe welcomes children ages 10-18 to join her in creating a drum group.
The group eventually will perform with her at the Valhalla Boat House Aug. 12 as part of Broscoe’s drum show “Durga.” Djembe and dunjun drums will be provided. No experience is necessary.
The program is in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club. You do not need to be a member of the club to join the drumming group. Practices will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday and continue July 29, Aug. 5 and 11 at the Boys & Girls Club, 1100 Lyons Ave.
