Dry and breezy conditions return

Simon Smith
Orv Whitney

There will be a return to dry weather for the next few days along with breezy afternoons and early evenings as we come under the influence of the northeast Pacific low and its associated upper level southwesterly flow.

Any thunderstorm activity over the next several days will be restricted to the favored areas near Bridgeport if traveling that way.

Look for sunny skies and warm temperatures with highs rising into the upper 70s to mid 80s during the day.

Overnight under clear skies, lows will drop into the mid 40s to near 50 except for upper 50s along Kingsbury Grade and the east shore.

Winds will pick up each day from the west or southwest in the 10 to 20 mph range after about 1 p.m. or so, and die out around 8 p.m.
