Easter Services for south shore Lake Tahoe

The following services are planned for Easter at Tahoe Community Church, 145 Daggett Lane at Kingsbury Grade. For more information, call Shirley Ralls at (775) 588-5860, ext. 10.

Good Friday

n 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. ” Good Friday Church School; grades 1-12; reservation required.



n 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. ” Children’s Good Friday Service, all ages. The Lord’s Supper will be served and explained to the children, followed by a resurrection ice cream party until 4 p.m.

n 5 p.m. ” Good Friday Service. A more reverent service. The Lord’s Supper will be served.



Easter Sunday

n 9 a.m.- 10:15 a.m. ” Breakfast and Fellowship time

n 10:30 a.m. ” Easter Morning Worship featuring an Easter musical

Unity at the Lake will hold a special Easter White Stone Ceremony at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd., from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

All are invited to the special service featuring music from OneVoice and an inspiring and powerful ceremony. Meditation to precede service at 9 a.m.

Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church will hold services celebrating Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

The Good Friday service will be at 6 p.m. at the church.

On Easter Sunday there will be a 6 a.m. Son Rise Service at the Zephyr Point Conference Grounds, followed by Easter Services at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
