El Dorado County Superior Court in South Lake Tahoe closed Tuesday due to storm

After opening with limited operations Monday, El Dorado County Superior Court in South Lake Tahoe will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 5, due to an ongoing winter storm.

Anyone who has court scheduled in South Lake Tahoe Tuesday will have their case rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the same time as the original date.

With a blizzard warning in effect until 10 p.m. Monday and a winter storm warning in effect until 4 p.m. Tuesday, courts on the West Slope could be closed.

Court users should check the court’s website Tuesday directly after 8 a.m. for further information.
