Emergency pet food bank needs restocking

When people go hungry, their pets do, too. The emergency pet food bank at the Lake Tahoe Humane Society and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals needs help.

Donate new, unopened, brand-name dry dog and cat food and clumping litter. Five to 20-pound bags are preferred. The food is stocked for year around distribution to seniors and resident pet families in need, and for disaster response. For information or a drop off time, please call the office at 530-542-2857.
