Engagement announced

Michele Weigel and Joshua Armstrong have announced their engagement and are making plans to be married July 4, 2003 at South Lake Tahoe.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Russell and Carol Weigel of San Jose, Calif. She graduated from James Lick High School at San Jose in 1991, and received a bachelor’s degree in art from San Jose State University in 1996. She is a graphic designer at the Tahoe Daily Tribune.

The future bridegroom’s parents are Sherlyn Main of Gardnerville, Nev., and Greg Armstrong of Van Nuys, Calif. He is a 1993 graduate of Sherman Oaks Center for Enriched Studies, a magnet school, at Reseda, Calif. He is a postal clerk with the United States Postal Service.
