Martin Foster and Stacey Morgan Foster of Oakdale have announced the engagement of their daughter Riley Foster to Lt. Sean Kennedy, son of Stephen and Deborah Kennedy of Arlington, Va.
The bride attends the United States Military Academy at West Point. She will graduate in May 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Arabic. The groom graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Russian and a minor in military history. He is an armor officer.
The bride is the granddaughter of Dr. Lawrence Foster of South Lake Tahoe and Patricia Warren of San Francisco, and William and Carole Morgan of Markleeville. Her godfather is Craig Morgan of South Lake Tahoe. She is the niece of South Lake Tahoe residents Michaela and Craig Morgan, Lauren and John Thomaselli and Linda Foster. The bride’s parents are both graduates of South Tahoe High School.
The couple plan a June wedding at Edgewood and will be stationed in Texas.
