Ernest Marvin Flores

Ernest Marvin Flores passed away on Sept. 25, 2006, in Carson City, Nev. Ernest was born on Feb. 20, 1957 in San Jose, Calif.

Ernest loved fishing and he enjoyed wood-working and camping and spending time with his family and friends. He took extreme pride in his work as a building contractor. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Hot Springs Ward.

Ernest and Robin Flores were married on March 4, 1989, in Santa Clara, Calif.



Before moving to Carson City, Ernest lived in South Lake Tahoe.

Ernest was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Valador Flores and brother Alfonso Flores.



He is survived by his mother, Emma Flores of San Jose; wife Robin Flores of Carson City; son Jason Flores of Reno, Nev.; daughter Sarah Flores of Woodland, Calif.; daughter Carmen Flores of Carson City; son Kenny Flores of Carson City; and his seven grandchildren.

The funeral service was on Sept. 30 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, C-Hill Building in Carson City. Burial is at Walton’s Carson Gardens Cemetery in Carson City.

Donations may be made to a trust fund established for Ernie’s children, 777 Silver Oak Drive, Apt. C112, Carson City, NV 89706.
