Everyone should be more careful and considerate on the roads

Bicyclists would be more likely to follow the rules if there were sufficient crossings to do so. I try not to ride the wrong way, or as little as possible on US-50, but in order to cross it you have to go when there is little, or no, traffic speeding by. The bike lanes are atrocious at best, so I doubt if much money has been spent on them over the past several years especially on US-50 from the “Y” to Meyers.

And please, give the bicyclists a break when it comes to delivery trucks. They’re in such a rush to get to their next stop, you’re lucky if they see or stop for anything.

When a major US Highway/thorough-fare passes through a resort community such as ours, everyone – driving, bicycling, walking – needs to take extra precautions and be more vigilant along with being considerate of others! Really!
