RENO – Desmon Farmer set a new franchise record with 36 points Tuesday night, lifting the Reno Bighorns to a 98-85 victory over the Utah Flash in the Reno Events Center.

The victory snaps a seven-game losing skid for Reno, and gives the Bighorns a 2-1 lead in the season series over the Flash.

Farmer connected on 8-of-11 attempts from beyond the arc, hit all four free-throw attempts and finished 12 of 21 from the floor in his record-setting performance. His 36 points trump the previous franchise high of 35, which Farmer, himself, set on Dec. 5.

Mo Charlo scored 17 for Reno, while Rod Benson chipped in 15 points and eight boards in the winning effort.

Luke Nevill led the way for the Flash with 28 points on the strength of 13-of-16 shooting from the field. Andre Ingram kicked-in 16 points, and Dontell Jefferson dished-out seven assists.

The Bighorns trailed by three points at intermission, but fired back in the second half, outscoring Utah 57-41.

Reno now heads back on the road for four-straight games. First up on the road trip is a date with the Idaho Stampede on Friday night.
