Father Grace receives honorary yacht club membership

The South Tahoe Yacht Club presented the Rev. John Grace with an honorary membership to the club at its quarterly meeting Feb. 19.
Grace, who is based at St. Theresa Catholic Church, was honored for more than 20 years of service blessing the members’ boats for their annual boat parade.
Each summer, at the beginning of the boating season, Grace stands on a dock in the Ski Run Marina, or in the Tahoe Keys, or at Camp Richardson, and blesses each boat as it parades by.
“We are very happy to have father as a member,” said Randi Szromba, yacht club member.
