February Potluck with Entertainment features Valentine’s Day theme

Everyone is invited to come to the Potluck with Entertainment on Friday at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Enjoy sharing good food, socializing, fun and interesting entertainment.

At 6:30pm, Jill Sharlow will sing “Valentine”; Francine Garcia will sing “My Funny Valentine,” Vern Lee will recite an original, and they will perform a humorous duet.

In addition,. Carolyn Meiers and her team will present “A Brush with Kindness” and tell about a Habitat for Humanity program that started in South Lake Tahoe two years ago. Habitat for Humanity is an organization with heart that can help low income homeowners to maintain the exterior of their homes with repairs, paint and landscaping.

The Potluck begins at 5:30 p.m. and participants are asked to bring their own plate and utensils, plus a salad, side dish or dessert for 6-8 people. To ensure variety, call Francine Garcia at 530- 541-8380, before deciding what to bring.

Members of South Lake Tahoe Senior Citizens, Inc. attending the Potluck with Entertainment, can win a $25 prize. Guests are welcome and everyone can win cash raffle prizes.
