SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Visitors, volunteers and actors took a swell trip back to the roaring 1920s at the Tahoe Heritage Foundation’s 25th Annual Great Gatsby Festival this weekend.

Vintage cars, swinging dresses, jazz music and a speakeasy transformed the Tallac Historic Site into a glimpse of days gone by.

Actors and volunteers in full era garb and memorabilia guided visitors through a day in the life of some of the wealthiest families in America.

The music of the Barkin Dawgs Band echoed throughout the Pope, Baldwin and Valhalla Estates while the crowd drifted back through time.
