Fifth man reportedly arrested in fatal South Lake Tahoe shooting

A fifth man has reportedly been arrested in the Jan. 30 shooting death of a man outside a South Lake Tahoe hotel

Oklahoma City’s http://www.koco.com is reporting the Oklahoma City Police Department arrested Dion Jermaine Vaccaro on a warrant Friday, May 20.

“Oklahoma City police learned that Vaccaro might have been at a residence in the 300 block of Northwest 84th Street, officials said,” according to the news site. “Officers were called to the area at 11:40 a.m. Friday when he was seen leaving the home.

“Police took Vaccaro into custody as he was walking toward Northwest 81st Street, authorities said.”

South Lake Tahoe police Lt. Brian Williams confirmed Thursday that a fifth arrest had been made in the case. He said additional information about the arrest is forthcoming.

Prosecutors have charged Tevarez Lopez, 33; Tristan Batten, 18; Harvest Davidson, 20, and Domenic Randolph, 22, with murder in connection to the shooting of Dennis Wright Jr. Wright, 40, was shot and killed outside of the Beverly Lodge in South Lake Tahoe during “a drug deal-turned robbery/murder,” according to police.

Authorities have not detailed the roles each of the suspects allegedly took in the shooting, saying it could jeopardize the ongoing investigation.

Each of the men is in police custody.
