Fight festive fat

– Eat breakfast. Skipping breakfast will lead to over indulgence at meal time.

– Once the holiday feast is served, eat slowly.

– Choose smaller portions in order to sample a variety of dishes.

– Refrain from going back for seconds.

– Limit alcohol intake to eight ounces of wine or 24 ounces of beer.

– Avoid impulses by keeping holiday sweets in canisters out of sight.

– Do something that prevents overeating and lethargy. Once the meal is finished, put leftovers away, do dishes and go for a walk.
