Final weeks for square-dance club
After more than 30 years, the Cowboys and Pettycoats Square Dance Club of Lake Tahoe will close.
Since 1976, its members have been dancing together one night a week. But membership is dwindling and there are no new people showing interest in the program In addition, the expense of keeping up the program is exceeding club membership.
The CPSDC come together for one last month of activity. Dancing will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. June 5, 12, 19, 26 and July 3 at the Kahle Community Center. The grand finale will be at the home of Harry and Lynn Flagg in Incline Village. Come and enjoy these last few nights of dancing, fun and friendship.
