Fire department shares Christmas

The South Lake Tahoe Fire Department will host two special events this holiday season.

Truck two from Station No. 2 will once again be decorated with Christmas lights so that it can be driven through the South Lake Tahoe city areas. Firefighters and their families will bring this truck to city neighborhoods to share the season of Christmas. Everyone is invited to come out and see the beauty of the truck as it lights up the night and plays music. Candy canes will be handed out to the children who venture to greet the truck. The truck will leave Station No. 2 at 5 p.m. each evening.

From 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 14 through Dec. 22 Santa’s House will be located in front of Station No. 2, 2951 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Children are welcome to visit Santa in his special house and have their pictures taken with the jolly fellow. Candy canes handed out.
