Fiscal report on table for LTVA meeting

The Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority will discuss the results of the 1998-1999 fiscal year end audit report during today’s board of directors meeting.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. at Embassy Suites Resort Convention Center, 4130 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

According to LTVA Director Terry LeBan, there were no surprises in the audit. “We’re doing everything right,” she said.

In other business, the board will consider participation in a regional golf media tour with tourism organizations around Lake Tahoe, Reno and Carson City. Cost to the LTVA would be $5,000.

Also on the agenda is a refresher on the LTVA strategic plan and an early look at a marketing plan timetable for the fiscal year 1999-2000, which begins in October.
