Fish for free at derby

The men and women of the South Lake Tahoe Moose Lodge 1632 will present the fifth annual Kids Fishing Derby on Sept. 10. The derby, which is hosted by Tahoe Paradise Park, will take place from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants can bring their own tackle. Loaner poles will be available.

The event will include free food, free fun, free fishing and raffle prizes. It is sponsored by El Dorado Savings Bank, Kmart, Lira’s Market and many more businesses in the community. Everyone is welcome to come on down and have a good time.
