The fourth annual Lake Tahoe Historical Society Garden Tour, which will take place July 28, will feature five gardens in South Lake Tahoe. Gardens can be viewed in any order between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Refreshments will be provided courtesy of Harveys Resort Casino and William Ledbetter. The Dream Spirit Baroque band will perform from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at garden four. The Tahoe Art League will present garden art for sale at garden five with a portion of all sales to benefit the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Museum. The museum will be open the day of the tour with free entry to ticket holders.

Tickets are $20, and if purchased before July 14 will include 10 passes to the Lake Tahoe Historical Museum. They are available at the museum, 3058 Lake Tahoe Blvd., Aspen Hollow Nursery, Tahoe Outdoor Living, Nel’s Hardware/Nursery, and Sunbasin Landscape and Nursery. A map to each garden with a short description will be included in the ticket.

Participants should wear comfortable walking shoes and walk with care as paths are uneven, and avoid parking across driveways and bicycle paths. They should respect off-limit spaces and leave pets at home. There is no smoking on premises, and no restrooms are available. Carpooling is suggested.
