Floppys opening Kingsbury Grade location

After serving the South Shore for more than 12 years, the computer and technology store Floppys is opening a second location on Kingsbury Grade next to 7-11.

“We serve customers from all parts of the South Shore, so it made sense to have a location in Stateline to make it more convenient for customers on the Nevada side of town,” said Floppys’ “face in the community” Ed Johns.

The store’s grand opening will be at noon July 20 with a ribbon cutting by the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce. Food and beverages will be served.

The new store will have the same computer services offered at the original location at Highway 50 and Tahoe Keys Boulevard, with an expanded selection of supplies, including new laptops, netbooks, computers, printers, networking equipment, ink and toner.

The Kingsbury Grade location is at (775) 588-3737. The Highway 50 store is at (530) 541-3737.
