South Lake Tahoe’s own Bread and Butter Band headline Lakeside Inn and Casino for a night of jams on Saturday, Nov. 5. The folk, blues rock and soul mash-up the group provides is sure to be the perfect way to spend your evening.

“What’s mo’ better than bread and butter with jam? For our band, the only thing that tops that is music, sweet music, and we love making it,” states the band’s Facebook biography.

Bread and Butter Band formed in 2013 and has been seen playing at prominent South Shore spots such as McP’s Taphouse, Riva Grill, The Naked Fish and Artemis Lakefront Cafe, among others.

“Come out to this free show and let us make sweet music for you!

“Butter our bread, why don’t you,” according to the Facebook event page.

The band is known for smooth guitar and soulful voices, showcased in both mellow songs and high-energy classics.

Free music at the Lakeside bar begins at 9:45 p.m. and typically lasts until 1 a.m.

Lakeside Inn and Casino is located at 168 U.S. 50 in Stateline. The bar is located on the bottom floor, next to the Latin Soul restaurant.
