Follow the yellow brick road to Chamber installation dinner

The Tahoe-Douglas Chamber of Commerce has scheduled its installation dinner April 30 at Caesars Tahoe with the theme “The Wonderful Wizard of Ridge.” The Wicked Witch of the West will “get you and your little dog, too…” if you don’t make your reservation for this exciting, rewarding, scary, funny, thrilling, surprising installation dinner. The Good Witch will love you if you do. The cost is $40 per person. For reservations and more information call (775) 588-4591.

Cocktails will start at 6:30 p.m. and dinner is slated from 7 to 8 p.m. “Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald Bay City” (installation celebration) will begin at 8 p.m. Special awards will be presented for outstanding attributes by a variety of characters: Courage, the Cowardly Lion; Heart, the Tin Man; Brains, the Scarecrow; Wicked Monkey, WWW (dot com); and President’s Award, The Good Witch.



Officers and board members to be installed are Dan Garrison, president; Andrew Strain, president-elect; Phil Weidinger, treasurer; Diane Imbach, immediate past president; Dave Berman, Bill Cottrill, Fred Green, Kathy Halbardier, Joanne Hallert, Ken Jillson, Jean-Michele Labadie; Steve Lowe, Susan Lowe, Don Miner, Patrick Ronan, Chuck Shapiro, Bruce Van Cleemput, Pam Wheeler, Bill Chernock, Steve Chilton, Ken Daley, Michael Flannagan, Lawrence Howell, Sharon Kelly and Tim Smith. Directors leaving the board are Pat Atherton and Mike Riley.
