Food and Wine festival coming this fall

Provided to the Tribune

The 26th annual Lake Tahoe Autumn Food and Wine Festival is scheduled for Sept. 9-11 at the Village at Northstar in Truckee.

Back bigger and better than ever, culinary aficionados and hungry travelers will return to the cobbled streets at the Village at Northstar for friendly chef battles, free outdoor grilling demonstrations, celebrity chef luncheon, gourmet marketplace vendor fair, grape stomp, wine walk, art and sculpture exhibit, winemaker dinners, live entertainment, along with food and wine pairing seminars.

Most events are held outside with North Lake Tahoe’s spectacular fall foliage as a backdrop.

A complete schedule of events and descriptions will be posted soon.

Tickets go on sale in July. Special room rates will also be available during the festival. For details, click to the North Lake Tahoe Visitors Bureau’s website at http://www.GoTahoeNorth.com.

The Lake Tahoe Autumn Food and Wine Festival is a fundraiser for the Community Fund of North Lake Tahoe through the 501c(3) Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation.
