Forecast: Sunny skies, chilly nights in Truckee this week

The weather outlook is bright for Truckee with sunny skies and clear, chilly nights this week, the National Weather Service Office in Reno said on Sunday, Dec. 3.

The forecast on Monday, Dec. 4, calls for sunny skies with a high of 36 degrees, a low around 13 degrees, and an east wind of 5-10 mph.

The outlook is similar for Tuesday, Dec. 5, with sunny skies and a high near 40 degrees. The low should be around 14 degrees with an east wind of about 5 mph.

Daytime highs should get progressively warmer later in the week, topping out on Saturday, Dec. 9, at around 50 degrees.
