Don Henley kicked off his 2016 tour earlier this week in Washington before making the trek to Stateline to play at Harveys Outdoor Arena at 8 p.m. this Sunday, July 24. The former Eagles member launched his solo career, which is marked by “Dirty Laundry,” “The Boys of Summer” and “All She Wants To Do Is Dance,” in 1982, shortly after the band broke up.

“Don will perform songs spanning his entire career from the Eagles and his vast solo catalog, including songs from his latest release, ‘Cass County’,” according to Henley’s website.

“Cass County,” released in September, is Henley’s first solo release in 15 years. It includes songs “Take a Picture of This” and “That Old Flame (feat. Martina McBride).” The album’s name is a nod to the East Texas county in which Henley was raised.

Known as a drummer, songwriter and vocalist for classic rock band The Eagles, Henley won six Grammy Awards with the group, including 1977’s Record of the Year for “Hotel California.” He has received two individual Grammy Awards, both of which were for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. The wins came in 1986 and 1990, for “The Boys of Summer” and “The End of the Innocence,” respectively.

The Eagles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
