Former senator to speak at dinner

Lincoln Day Dinner 2003 will take place Feb. 9 at the Carson Valley Inn, Minden, Nev. The social will begin at 5 p.m. with a no-host bar and dinner will served at 6 p.m. Dinner choices are prime rib and swordfish.

The guest of honor will be Sen. Lawrence Jacobsen, who has represented Nevadans for the past 40 years, and his wife, Betty. The committee is planning many great events including a raffle and silent auction.

Reservations must be made by contacting Brenda Robertson, the Douglas County Republican Central Committee corresponding secretary, at (775) 267-2403. The cost is $37.50 per person and payment must be made no later than Feb. 1.
