Fourth-quarter rally lifts Austin past Reno Bighorns

AUSTIN, Texas – All five Reno starters registered in double figures Wednesday night, but a strong fourth-quarter push for Austin lifted the Toros to a 115-103 victory over the Bighorns in the Cedar Park Center.

Reno (11-15) led by as many as 14 in the fourth quarter, but the Toros (16-10) used a 14-0 run to tie the score with just less than seven minutes remaining. Austin took the lead with 4:25 left to play and never looked back, forcing a series split.

Will Blalock recorded 19 points with nine boards and six assists for Reno. Mo Charlo was 6 of 9 from the floor en route to 17 points for the Bighorns.

Malik Hairston paced the Toros with 23 points. Justin Bowen notched a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. Six Toros finished in double figures in scoring.
