Bay Area guitarist Matty T is set to perform with the Buddy Emmer Blues Band at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe this Tuesday night, May 17.

The show is a part of regular Tuesday night blues music performances at the Harrah’s Casino Center Stage.

“Harrah’s is heating up the night every Tuesday, with free blues shows, live at Casino Center Stage,” according to a description of the event from Harrah’s. “Longtime Northern Nevada musician Buddy Emmer will showcase local and regional headliner artists as they front Emmer’s smokin’ band with some of the best blues music around.”

The Buddy Emmer Blues Band has been a staple of Northern Nevada and plays a mix of classic and modern blues.

The group will be joined this week by Matty T, a longtime player in the Northern California music scene.

“Matty was recently nominated as Guitarist of the Year by the Bay Area Blues Society,” according to his website. “Matty has been a working musician in Northern California for many years. If you like hard rock’n guitar with blistering licks, Matty’s your guy.”

Harrah’s Lake Tahoe is located at 15 U.S. Highway 50 in Stateline. Music starts at 8 p.m.
