Free cancer risk assessment test

Colon cancer is the No. 2 cancer killer. It affects 130,000 people every year. It can be readily prevented. The growth of colon cancer occurs over 10 years. This leaves time for discovery and treatment. The goal of cancer screening is to find polyps (growth that lead to cancer ) and stop cancer from ever forming.

Medical technology only works on people who avail themselves to it. Cancer prevention requires responsibility to a person’s spouse, family and to themselves. Everyone can take the lead — be an example to their family and community. People can determine their risks of colon cancer and get screened appropriately.

Dr. William Everts is offering colon cancer risk assessment to the community free of charge. Appointments are being scheduled now. The location is Round Hill Square shopping center in Nevada. To make an appointment and for more information call Jennifer at (775) 588-3636.
