DJ Keenan brings the beats to Whiskey Dick’s Saloon in South Lake Tahoe every Tuesday.
The DJ has been active in the area since the late 1990s and plays a mix of Top 40, hip-hop, old school, electro and trap music.
“DJ Keenan’s musical style is as wide and varying as music itself. From classic rock to today’s hottest hits, to driving electronic beats, to his own custom mashups, all can be experienced in a single set,” according to a press release for the show. “The creativity and ingenuity behind his mixes can be felt far and wide, by all partygoers, regardless of musical taste.”
DJ Keenan has made thousands of appearance during his career, playing regularly at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa’s Opal Ultra Lounge, as well as clubs in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego, performing with acts like Spice-1, Fat Joe, Fatman Scoop, Smoov-E and Shock-G.
“DJ Keenan plays for the people. A true crowd pleaser and party rocker, whether its Top 40 or melting the crowd with Dub and Electro,” said promoter Billy Drewitz in the release. “A true professional in his own regard, DJ Keenan keeps it real. Having shared the stage with heavyweights like Too Short, E-40, Mickey Avalon and holding down residencies with all of Northern Nevada’s hottest clubs and top Promoters, there isn’t much he can’t do!”
Whiskey Dick’s Saloon is located at 2660 Lake Tahoe Blvd.
