Whiskey Dick’s Saloon will host a night of rock and reggae this weekend as part of a series of free shows throughout the winter.

Audiodub performs at the South Shore bar Saturday night. The Bay Area group draws on influences like No Doubt, Reel Big Fish and Sublime.

“We’re a three-piece reggae/rock band with digs in San Francisco,” according to the band’s online biography. “We combine thumping reggae beats with a California-rock mentality, bringing our own style of music that separates from the rest.

“Although rocking the music of Sublime came naturally to these three Sublime fans, original ideas and tracks quickly came to the forefront,” according to a separate description from the band. “This new band consists of the same members but different ideas, combining our unique musical backgrounds and creating Audiodub. This new project combines the ska/reggae elements that we’re used to and blends them with our own personalities of hard rock and punk.”

A tribute to rock band Weezer will open Saturday’s show.

The performance is part of a series of free Saturday night shows at Whiskey Dick’s through the ski season highlighting local and regional acts.

Tahoe Blue Vodka drink specials will be offered all night long.

Whiskey Dick’s Saloon is located at 2660 Lake Tahoe Blvd. in South Lake Tahoe.
