This report is for Friday, Jan. 25, 2008.

Heavenly reports fetching an additional 4 to 5 inches of snow overnight, according to its Web site. The resort plans to operate 28 lifts with skiing and riding on 4,800 acres. The groomers’ pick of the day is Comet on the Nevada side and Ellie’s on the California side. Lifts open at 9 a.m.

All lifts to run; sledding, tubing and snow bikes available at Adventure Peak.

High Roller, Powderbowl, Groove.

Periods of snow with moderate to strong winds and temperatures in the mid 20s.

4 to 5 inches overnight; 4 to 5 inches in past 24 hours.

58-80 inches.

Powder, packed powder, skier-packed powder, machine-groomed powder or 1-800-HEAVENLY.

Halfpipe open along with three terrain parks, according to Kirkwood’s Web site. Live music on Saturday with Frankie Ferreira at the Wall Bar. Third event in the Kirkwood Cup Freeride Series is Sunday.

10 lifts open, 65 trails open, 39 trails groomed.
