Friday’s weather: A pleasant weekend and then more snow
A decent weekend is in store for our region weatherwise as the chances of any precipitation are extremely low at least through Sunday evening before some changes take place early next week.
Although fine weather will be the rule, there will be quite a bit of cloudiness especially on Saturday which may make it feel cooler than it actually is along with some gusty winds.
The best of the sunshine and weather will occur today and again on Sunday with partly cloudy conditions expected. Highs will remain in the upper 30s to mid 40s with overnight lows dropping into the teens and 20s through the weekend.
Winds will generally be southwesterly in the 10 to 15 mph range but on Saturday some stronger winds with gusts to 30 mph in the valleys and over 50 mph over ridges will be common.
Later on Sunday we should see an increase in clouds that may lead to some snow by late Sunday night or early Monday. Nothing significant is expected at this time but something to be aware of. Have a great weekend!
