There’s always something going on at Crystal Bay Casino. This week’s lineup includes performances by Guitar Army and Rabbit Wilde. The fun kicks off Friday, Sept. 23, at 9 p.m. with Guitar Army’s battle of the strings.
“Guitar Army is comprised of three world-class musicians: Robben Ford, Lee Roy Parnell, and Joe Robinson. The triple-threat artists — guitarists, singers and songwriters — each perform individual 20-minute sets (Robinson as a soloist, Parnell as a duo with keys, and Ford as a trio with bass and drums), before joining forces together as one six-piece band for a 40-minute set to close out the show in supergroup fashion,” states the group’s Facebook biography.
Ford, a five-time Grammy Award nominee, joined two-time Grammy Award nominee Parnell and Australia’s Got Talent winner Robinson to create an evening full of incredible guitar playing.
Tickets for the show, held in the Crystal Bay Club Casino Crown Room, begin at $30.
Rabbit Wilde closes out the Crystal Bay Casino shows for the week with a performance on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 10 p.m.
“This kind of backyard folk seasoned by the edge, polish and fervor of big-city inclinations is at the root of their high-energy sound and stage presence,” states the band’s online biography.
The performance is free to attend and held in the Crystal Bay Club Casino Red Room.
Crystal Bay Casino is located at 14 State Highway 28 in Crystal Bay, Nev.
