Funds available for Angora fire victims
Contributed funds raised within the community this past summer by the Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club and the Tahoe Businesses Who Care Coalition are available to people displaced by the Angora fire.
Any person or family who lived permanently in a home destroyed by the fire is eligible for a portion of the nearly $20,000 that has been raised.
To request consideration for funds, victims are required to fill out and submit a simple form to the Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club. The form, in a pdf format, can be downloaded from the club Web site home page at Tahoe-Rotary.com. To have a form mailed or for more information, contact Rotarian Ryder Evens at (775) 762-9800.
