Gabriel Project helps women

For women in crisis pregnancy situations the Gabriel Project offers friendship and emotional support, medical and prenatal care resources, financial assistance, housing and adoption resources, babysitting and transportation help and counseling.

The Gabriel Project is made up of members of churches in the city. They are people who want to help, who care and who offer immediate, practical assistance to pregnant women. This is a national organization. The help line telephone number is (800) 910-0191.

The local Gabriel Project group will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 27 in the social hall at St. Theresa Catholic Church on Lyons Avenue. Anyone who would like to become involved or would like more information is welcome to attend the meeting. For more information call St. Theresa Parish office at (530) 544-3533.
